Unveiling BMW Facelift Features
Although the test mule was heavily camouflaged, it's expected that the cosmetic changes will be minor, aligning with BMW’s recent facelift trends. Likely updates include modifications to the bumpers and light clusters, and some variants may feature an illuminated grille surround. Notably, BMW has opted to maintain the current headlamp design for the iX, avoiding the split headlamp setup seen in other flagship models like the 7 Series and X7.
The revised iX is also expected to feature a revamped variant lineup, replacing the current xDrive40, xDrive50, and M60 models with new xDrive45, xDrive60, and M70 variants. These new variants are anticipated to offer enhanced performance, with the M70 potentially matching the output of the i7 M70 available in several markets, including India. Additionally, BMW may enhance the SUV’s driving range with this update.
The refreshed iX is slated to debut in the first half of 2025, with global sales following shortly after. The updated model is also expected to be available in India.
