Royal Enfield Classic 650: For the first time, the Royal Enfield Classic 650 has been spied on without camouflage just before its official launch. That would make it the fifth bike built on the reliable 650 platform of Royal Enfield. The launch is expected to take place at EICMA 2024 in Italy this November. There's a spy photo from the UK that shows what appears to be a production-ready or almost ready version of the motorcycle.

Classic 650 shares its inspiration with much the same place as the Royal Enfield Classic 350, but with a slightly larger body. Its headlight, mudguards, and taillight are the same as the smaller model. The fuel tank has a dual tone maroon and cream finish with the Royal Enfield logo in a retro style. This new logo is likely one of two the brand trademarked early this year. Expectations are that it will arrive in a host of new colors, as the facelifted Classic 350 does.

Here Are Some Exciting Features Of Royal Enfield Classic 650

Chrome-finished engine case, spoked wheels with tube tyres, and twin pea-shooter exhausts adorn the bike. The fuel tank looks slightly bigger with an estimated 15-16-liter capacity. It packs a tubular steel frame and suspension via telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks. For braking, it will feature a 320mm disc mounted at the front through a twin-piston floating caliper and a 300mm disc in the rear, both probably consisting of ABS. The rear taillight and indicators are borrowed from the Super Meteor.

The bike will thus draw power from the same 648cc parallel-twin engine that motivates the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650, and Shotgun 650. The numbers from this unit are a respectable 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. The Classic 650 might see little difference in the figures but may see minimal tweaking at the end on the gearing and mapping side as the relaxed riding style won't exactly require a top-end rush from the motor. The same engine will be matched to the 6-speed gearbox.
