Anand Mahindra Calls Tata Motors Respected Elder Brother Of Mahindra: Chairman of Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra on Wednesday called Tata Motors a respected elder brother of his company Mahindra.

Mahindra was responding to a media report on 'X' that said, "M&M (Mahindra & Mahindra) edges ahead of Tata Motors in September to grab the number 3 spot." The report further said, "Posting it's highest ever monthly sales, M&M was just 39 units behind Hyundai, for the number 2 spot. M&M clocked sales of 51,062 units, whereas Hyundai reported 51,101 units."

Responding to this on 'X' Mahindra wrote, "The only race worth winning is the one you race against yourself; against your OWN aspirations. We have always seen Tata Motors as a respected elder brother that spurs us to keep improving ourselves." "We hope that we too, motivate them to reach new heights. The journey will always have twists and turns, but we continue to travel together," Mahindra's post further read.

Anand Mahindra's Praise For Tata

This is not the first time when Anand Mahindra praised Tata. In a post on 'X' dated back to 24 February 2024 reads, "Tata have been pioneers & pathbreakers in the Indian Truck industry. We acknowledge, with admiration, the architect of Tata Motors."

In July 2022, an user asked Mahindra tweeted about his feelings on Tata cars to which Mahindra responded, "It’s a privilege to have strong competitors like @TataMotors. They keep reinventing themselves and that inspires us to do even better. Competition spurs Innovation."

In 2012, Ratan Tata praised M&M. Anand Mahindra took to twitter and wrote, "Mr Tata's comment is extraordinarily humble & generous. M&M takes it as a pat on the back from a big brother & it inspires us to work harder."
