In a shocking incident reported form Noida, a 50-year-old woman has been found dead in her room on Friday. The incident took place in locality of sector 39, Noida.
According to the police, a pressure mark was found on woman’s neck hinting that she was throttled. Her husband is missing and search is going on to track him down.
Based on preliminary investigation, a case has been registered against woman’s husband as a suspect.
The police said that caretaker of the building, around 11 am on Friday noticed a foul smell coming from a room. He immediately rang the police and police reached the spot.
When the police arrived, there was no lock in the door and it was simply closed. Upon entering the room, Police found that a middle-aged woman was lying dead on the bed.
What Did The Police Say?
According to DCP Noida, Ram Badan Singh, “The deceased woman is yet to be identified. She was residing with her husband Anand in a rented room in the Salarpur area of Sector 39. He works as a mason.” He said that the couple belonged to Chattarpur of Madhya Pradesh and had recently rented room in Noida.
The police said that her husband is missing since Thursday morning. DCP Ram Badan said, “With the help of documents, we are trying to identify the deceased. We were told that Anand hails from Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh. Since Thursday morning, he is missing.”
They informed that a team has been sent to Madhya Pradesh to search for Anand and woman’s body has been sent for post mortem to know the cause of the death.
