Cricketer Mayank Agarwal Admitted To ICU
On Tuesday, January 30, Indian cricketer Mayank Agarwal was urgently taken to the hospital from Agartala airport. The cricketer experienced discomfort in his throat while on board his New Delhi-bound flight before it departed. Agarwal was quickly transported to a nearby hospital in the capital city of Tripura for immediate medical attention.

Mayank Agarwal received medical treatment at a hospital in Agartala, but the exact cause of the incident on the flight remains unclear. Authorities are conducting an investigation into the matter. The Karnataka team, en route from Agartala to Rajkot for their upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Saurashtra, was affected by the incident involving Mayank Agarwal.

After captaining Karnataka in a recent Ranji Trophy match in Agartala, Mayank Agarwal was set to board an Indigo flight to New Delhi at 2:30 pm IST. However, he was promptly removed from the plane and urgently transported to a nearby hospital when he raised concerns about a throat issue.
On Tuesday afternoon, Tripura Cricket officials were present at the hospital, overseeing Mayank Agarwal's condition. Shavir Tarapore, the joint secretary of the Karnataka State Cricket Association, mentioned that the state association was attempting to gather additional information about the incident. However, due to Mayank being hospitalized and undergoing treatment, specific details were not disclosed at that time.
