Liton Das responded directly by hitting three boundaries off Bumrah in one over, raising the stakes of the partnership with Mominul Haque. Feeling the need to push the partnership, Rohit brought in Mohammed Siraj and packed the off-side field, becoming himself mid-off in the process and inviting Liton to go over the top.

Litton was quick to capitalize on this and misread the fuller delivery from Siraj, and when the ball appeared to be going to the boundary, Rohit pulled off an incredible one-handed catch, leaving Litton dazed. Bangladesh were reduced to 148 for five because of Rohit's clever strategy and athleticism.

Rohit now has 62 catches in 61 Test matches for India and is second among the present lot of players in the squad with Virat Kohli being at the top with 113 catches.

Mohammad Siraj's Incredible Catch

Inspired by Rohit Sharma, Mohammad Siraj took the second game-changing catch of the innings, exposing Shakib Al Hasan from Bangladesh. Shakib went for a high shot off an Ashwin delivery, looking for the six, but Siraj was rightly positioned in the circle at mid-off. He timed his backpedal perfectly as he tracked the ball before producing an outstanding leap to take a caught with his left hand.

Mohammad Siraj has taken 16 catches in 29 matches and the one he caught today on Day 4 of India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test was an absolute stunner.
