Rohit Sharma Reviews Umpire's Decision

The review was for umpire's call from Richard Kettleborough, who had given him out off Mehidy Hasan Miraz's bowling. Instead of succumbing to only a relief sigh, the Indian captain remained visibly distraught after winning the appeal with a decisive review.

Rohit gave India a very confident lead into the first innings, especially after two rain-disrupted days. While playing with great vigor, he hit 23 off just 11 balls to form a part of a record-breaking fifty for the team in Test cricket history. While Yashasvi Jaiswal also had much to do with the process, Rohit and Jaiswal completed their fifty in just 18 balls—just three overs—and that made the moment unforgettable while surprising the Bangladeshi side utterly.

Though Jaiswal managed to outscore Rohit, the skipper's explosive batting will be impossible to forget. He launched into the innings off the very first two balls that he received and then scored a six and a four off the next balls only. His third six - an even bigger strike over long-on- saw former India wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik picture the excitement of all the Indian cricket fanatics.

"Someone tell Rohit Sharma he is retired. He is no longer playing T20 internationals." Karthik said.

WATCH- Rohit Sharma Gets Angry

Kettleborough quickly raised his finger, and Rohit immediately went upstairs for a referral. The replays showed no inside edge, but it was visibly clear that the ball was hitting outside leg stump. As the visuals rolled on the screen, fired up Rohit had smacked his bat and was muttering away. However, in a cruel turn of events, he got bowled on the very next delivery by Mehidy.
