Why Was It Halted?

The project was proposed in 2019, but it got halted due to land issue as the farmers weren’t satisfied with the compensation they were getting. The authorities had to buy the land at a new rate.

The Noida Authority had increased the compensation rate to Rs 5,300 per square metre from Rs 3,500 per square metre. The construction got started once the land was bought. The original deadline of the project was September 2020 but multiple delays have stretched it to 2024. The work resumed in 2023.
