Actor Anil Kapoor is set to debut as the host of Bigg Boss OTT 3, eager to showcase his hosting prowess. Previously hosted by Salman Khan, the new season marks Kapoor's takeover from Khan, who has been a long-time host of Bigg Boss, typically anchoring the main show. Salman Khan hosted the previous season of Bigg Boss OTT, but Anil Kapoor will now helm the third installment.

During a press conference for the show, Anil Kapoor responded to questions about replacing Salman Khan for Bigg Boss OTT 3, dismissing the notion of 'AK replacing Salman as the host. Kapoor emphasized, "No one can replace Salman, and no one can replace Anil Kapoor either. It's simple." He further mentioned, "Salman is very happy – we've spoken. He's excited that I'm stepping into non-fiction. He's very happy." Turning to host Munnawar Faraqui, Kapoor added humorously, "And if you want to start any controversy..."

Regarding his role as the host of the show, Anil Kapoor enthusiastically expressed, "Bigg Boss OTT and I make a perfect team! We both have a youthful spirit; people often joke that I'm reverse aging, but Bigg Boss is truly timeless. It feels like a new and exciting adventure, akin to going back to school. Show is set to premiere on JioCinema Premium starting from June 21st. The tentative list of contestants rumored to join includes Riyaz Ali, Shivangi Joshi, Shafaq Naaz, Dalljiet Kaur, Chandrika, known for her viral Vadapav video, along with YouTuber Zayn Saifi, Vicky Jain, Adnan Shaikh, and several others.
