Asha Negi is a popular name in the television industry and has proved her acting prowess several times. In a recent interview, the actress recalled her casting couch experience and revealed how a guy was trying to brainwash her about how the industry works. The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ star shared how she stood up to the guy.

While sharing the incident, Asha told Hautterfly, “This was some coordinator during that time, some random guy. I ended up meeting. I'm glad that we met and he started talking about television mein ye voh, and I was in my early 20s. He was almost trying to brainwash me that this is what happens and this is how you will grow. He told me, jitne bhi bade TV actors hai, all have done it."

The ‘Ludo’ revealed that she told the guy she was not interested in working if things worked that way.

The actress also recalled an eve-teasing incident when she was in school and was scared to take her stand at that time. She revealed, “I was walking with my best friend when a guy on a bicycle touched me inappropriately. I was in shock and wanted to scream, but I felt choked and ended up crying when I got home. I felt terrible for making my parents hear about it.”

On the work front, Asha was recently seen in the web series 'Honeymoon Photographers', which is streaming on JioCinema. She played the role of a photographer, who takes photos of a couple on their honeymoon. But things take a turn when a murder happens. The series also stars Rajeev Siddhartha, Apeksha Porwal, Sahil Salathia, Jason Tham and Samvedna Suwalka in pivotal roles.

Asha is best known for her roles in 'Pavitra Rishta', 'Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan' and 'Bade Ache Lagte Hain', among others.
