Devara OTT Update:
According to several media reports, the OTT rights of 'Devara' have been purchased by Netflix. As per Variety, NTR Jr-starrer is one of the Telugu movies that will stream on Netflix after its theatrical run. The official release date of 'Devara' has not been announced yet. But it is likely to stream on Netflix in November or December 2024 as the movies usually arrive on OTT 45 to 60 days after its release.
'Devara ' also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. The movie will soon cross Rs 300 crore at the box office worldwide.
While speaking to Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar for a fun chat, NTR Jr had high praise for Saif Ali Khan’s performance in ‘Devara’ and said that it reminded him of ‘Omkara’. Praising Saif, the actor said, “Saif’s character is…I don’t know I was so excited seeing him while watching the movie. I just remember that immediately when I saw the film and when I saw his performance, I went back to Omkara. He gives you that vibe and he was outstanding in that movie. I don’t remember when I actually saw him that fabulous.”

Saif Ali Khan earlier expressed his gratitude towards Jr NTR and the team of ‘Devara’ for welcoming him into the Telugu cinema with open arms and also praised the crew for being kind to him. He said, “Lovely people, I must say. Your unit and the crew – it was such a pleasure to work with everyone. So polite and kind – it was the nicest experience ever. Thank you for being so welcoming and amazing.”
'Devara' will return for its second part. Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie also stars Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko and Narain in pivotal roles.
