EXCLUSIVE: Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 To Have A Stellar Cast; Director Says, 'I Don’t Want To Kill The Suspense By Revealing Names'

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: This year’s Diwali is going to get a lot brighter with Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film was Bazmee’s highly awaited project after its second instalment, starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu, broke all the records by bringing audience back to the theatres after Covid-19 pandemic.

The third part of the popular franchise brings back Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan along with a new addition Tripti Dimri. But beside them, several other names including Madhuri Dixit’s have popped out in the past month.  When questioned about it, Bazmee refuses to spill beans. “We have a stellar cast which includes the lead actors Kartik, Tripti and Vidya. Then we have my favourite comic trio Sanjay Mishra Ashwini Kaleskar, Rajpal Yadav. Everyone, including the ones we have announced and the ones we have not confirmed, have done an excellent job. I don’t want to comment on the names and kill the suspense. I want people to go with no prior thoughts in mind and enjoy the surprises that film presents,” shares the Welcome director.

When asked how Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is going to be different from its last part, Bazmee shares that genre is horror-comedy but this one is “much better, bigger, more entertaining and engaging.” He adds, “We have tried to take the game a notch higher with this film, whether it’s in terms of the story or the use of visual effects. It’s been made on a much larger scale.”

Though the second instalment did surprisingly well, the director looks back and tells us how shooting it was not an easy task. “As a creative person you are never ever satisfied with your work. You want to keep improving. But with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the biggest issue we faced was working during Covid-19. There were a lot of restrictions and limitations and we had to keep in mind the dos and don’ts. That created immense pressure on us.”

However, the situation had changed when the team started working on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. “We did our best job with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and gave our 500 per cent to it. I am very happy with the way the film has turned out. In fact, everyone who has seen the film so far is loving it. With God’s grace, the audience is also going to like and appreciate the work we have put into the film,” he wraps up.
