Kangana Ranaut, a recent entrant into politics and winner of the recent Lok Sabha elections recalled the time when she was first invited into politics. He also revealed that getting offers to join politics was not a 'big deal' for him as his great-grandfather was a three-term MLA. In a recent conversation with The Himachal Podcast, the 'Queen' actress recalled how several members of her family had received offers to join politics in the past.

'This is not the first time I have been asked to join politics, earlier I received several other offers. I was offered a ticket soon after being a gangster. My grandfather was an MLA for at least three terms. So if you belong to such a family and taste success, local leaders approach you This is very common. My father got an offer. My sister was suggested to join politics after she survived an acid attack. So getting political offers is not important for us," she said.

Calling the life of a politician 'tough,' she added: 'I am someone who follows his passion. If you look at me in the film industry, I am an actor, writer, director, and producer. And here in my political career, if I must deal with the here, I will continue However, I cannot deny that work in the film industry is relatively easier than in politics, the latter requires a lot of effort. It's a hard life as a doctor, where only anxious people come to see you. When you go to see a movie, you are very calm. But politics doesn't like it.'

She also talked about how she plans to take advantage of this new opportunity, saying: “I was also approached in 2019. If I wasn't interested in it, I wouldn't have to work so hard. I won't. It's a very difficult place to be, and I think that if God has blessed me with this opportunity, I will certainly do it with all my integrity. More than me, the people of Mandi want someone to save them from corrupt people. And that's why they chose me. I don't want to leave them.'

Meanwhile, Kangana was last seen on the work front in Air Sharer Tejas. He has some big projects in his kitty, including the directorial Crisis. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, and late actor Satish Kaushik.
