Police Doubt Govinda's Story In Shooting Case; Rule Out Foul Play

Bollywood actor Govinda was questioned by the Juhu Police regarding the incident where he accidentally shot himself in the leg. As reported by News 18, Govinda explained that while cleaning his revolver, which was unlocked, it misfired. The 'Bhagam Bhag' actor mentioned that the revolver was around 20 years old. Police officers initially believe there was no foul play, but they are not entirely convinced by his explanation and may request to record his statement again.

Daughter Tina Ahuja Also Questioned

Apart from Govinda, his daughter Tina Ahuja was also questioned by the police, and her statement has been recorded. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.

Accident Details and Medical Treatment

The accident occurred early Tuesday morning, around 4:45 AM, when Govinda was preparing to leave for Kolkata. The revolver slipped from his hand, and a bullet accidentally fired, hitting his leg. He is currently recuperating at a critical care hospital in Mumbai, where doctors successfully removed the bullet.

Govinda’s Statement and Reassurance to Fans

Govinda, who is also a Shiv Sena leader, released a voice note to the press, assuring fans of his well-being. In his message, he thanked the doctors, especially Dr. Agarwal, for their care and expressed gratitude for the support and prayers from his fans.
