They announced their marriage with heartfelt photos from their civil wedding. Sonakshi looked elegant in a white saree with minimal makeup and jewellery, adorned with flowers in her hair. Zaheer opted for a white kurta. One of the photos captures Zaheer kissing Sonakshi's hand, another features Sonakshi with her father Shatrughan Sinha while Zaheer signs documents, and the last shows the newlyweds posing joyfully for the camera.

They shared wedding photos on Instagram and expressed, "Seven years ago today (23.06.2017), we looked into each other's eyes and found love in its purest form, deciding to cherish it forever.
