Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at her new residence, 81 Aureate, in Mumbai on Sunday. They announced their marriage with heartfelt photos from their civil wedding. Sonakshi looked elegant in a white saree with minimal makeup and jewellery, adorned with flowers in her hair. Zaheer opted for a white kurta. One of the photos captures Zaheer kissing Sonakshi's hand, another features Sonakshi with her father Shatrughan Sinha while Zaheer signs documents, and the last shows the newlyweds posing joyfully for the camera.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal marked their first post after getting married on June 23. They shared wedding photos on Instagram and expressed, "Seven years ago today (23.06.2017), we looked into each other's eyes and found love in its purest form, deciding to cherish it forever. Today, guided by that love, we have overcome challenges and celebrated victories, leading us to this moment, where we are now husband and wife with the blessings of our families and gods. Sonakshi Sinha and her husband Zaheer Iqbal disabled comments on Instagram when they shared their wedding photos, amid ongoing trolling following their interfaith marriage announcement. Shatrughan Sinha, in response, has supported his daughter's decision to marry the person of her choice.

Paparazzi spotted Shatrughan Sinha leaving Sonakshi's residence following her intimate wedding ceremony with Zaheer Iqbal. They congratulated the actor-turned-politician on his daughter's marriage.
