Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde have teamed up for the second time for the movie ‘Thalapathy 69’, which has finally gone on floors with a pooja ceremony. Bollywood actor Bobby Deol has also joined the film in the pivotal roles and was seen happily chatting with Vijay. Pooja has also worked with the ‘Animal’ star in ‘Housefull 4’. Not many details about ‘Thalapathy 69 ’ have been announced yet but it is touted to be a political drama.
Vijay and Pooja twinned in white traditional attires, whereas, Bobby Deol was seen wearing a stylish checkered shirt.
The official title of ‘Thalapathy 69’ has not been announced yet. The movie is scheduled to release in October 2025. The movie also stars Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, Narain and Prakash Raj in key roles. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music for ‘Thapathy 69’. Sathyan Sooryan will serve as the cinematographer with Pradeep E Raghav as the film’s editor.
On the work front, Pooja will be seen in the Hindi movie ‘Deva’ with Shahid Kapoor. Talking about her journey of working in ‘Deva’ and her collaboration with Shahid, she told Filmfare, “Deva is a promising project because it offers a unique and engaging storyline with a strong character for me to portray. This is my first collaboration with Shahid Kapoor and it’s a film that combines action, drama and entertainment in a way that will keep the audience engaged and entertained. My fans will see me in a new light in this film. The team behind the project is also highly talented, which makes it even more exciting. I can’t wait for it to be released.”
Vijay was recently seen in the movie ‘GOAT’ aka ‘The Greatest Of All Time', which became a huge hit. Meanwhile, Bobby Deol was last seen in 'Animal' and will next star in another awaited Tamil movie 'Kanguva'.
