Triptii Dimri recently faced backlash in Jaipur after she was accused of skipping an event in the city despite charging money. The organisers of the event questioned Triptii's stardom, asked people to boycott her and even defaced her posters. The 'Animal' star has now broken her silence on these accusations and revealed she did not commit to participating in any event beyond her promotional duties for her upcoming movie.

On the work front, Triptii is gearing up for the release of ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress talked about the trolling she faced in the dance number ‘Mere Mehboob’. She said, “As an actor, I’m trying to do different things. First, I thought that you only needed to know acting to be an actor, and you’re sorted. When things got real, I realised that when you’re offered shows, you should know how to walk properly, when you get offered a dance number, you should know how to dance well.”

“I said, ‘I have to try everything’. But one can’t be good at everything. But what’s wrong with trying? You have to give it your best; you’re here now. I didn’t realise (while shooting). It was my first dance number. I haven’t really done one like this before. And I didn’t think that it would get the kind of response that it’s getting. But it’s fine; it happens to everybody. There are things that people like, there are things that people don’t like. But that doesn’t mean that you stop experimenting,” she added.

'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ will release on October 11, 2024, and will clash with Alia Bhatt-starrer 'Jigra'. Triptii will next star in ‘Dhadak 2’ with Siddhant Chaturvedi.
