Kangana Ranaut and Chirag Paswan had a heartwarming reunion at the NDA's Parliamentary meet in New Delhi on Friday. They are not only aspiring parliamentarians but also former co-stars who shared the screen in the 2011 film Mile Na Mile Hum.

A video captured at the meeting venue shows Kangana in a mint blue saree, greeting Chirag. After shaking hands, Kangana maintained her hold on his hand, and they shared some laughs while others around them observed. Kangana is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, while Chirag is the chief of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas).

'Mile Na Mile Hum' was Chirag's sole movie, featuring him as a tennis player and Kangana as the woman he falls in love with.

Earlier, Chirag said he was eager to meet Kangana again. “I am looking forward to meet her. We shared a good relationship, worked in a film. We will be meeting in Parliament. I think she is a strong lady; she voices herself very articulately and I am looking forward listening to her in Parliament,”

On Thursday, Kangana alleged that she was struck in the face and verbally abused by a female CISF constable during a security check at Chandigarh airport. This incident occurred just two days after she won from the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), responsible for airport security, has launched a court of inquiry into the incident.
