Good news for job seekers who are looking forward to joining a security force and donning a uniform. CISF is currently recruiting for the post of constable. It has a total of 1130 vacancies but the most important part is that this opportunity is set to close very soon.

Eligibility and prerequisites
The minimum eligibility for the application is intermediate in the science stream i.e. 10 2 level of education. The candidate must be in age between 18 to 23 years. However, the candidates falling into reserved categories will get relaxations which would be up to three years for the OBC candidates and up to five years for SC/ST candidates.
The physical qualification has also been described as the prerequisite in the application document. To get this opportunity, the applicant must have a minimum height of 170cm and his chest should range from 80 to 85 centimetres. This opportunity is only for male candidates.

The application on the CISF website was activated on August 31 and the last day to apply is September 30, 2024.
In a total of 1130 openings, the unreserved or general category has 466 whereas the OBC has 236 seats. 114 seats have been reserved for the applicants from the EWS category. For SC and ST categories, there are 153 and 161 reserved seats respectively.

To apply, one should go to the official website of CISF and register as a new user. If you are already registered, log in to the account using the login credentials. Thereafter, the link to CISF Constable Recruitment 2024 has to be looked for and clicked on. Fill in the details, upload the required documents and after making the fee deposit, click on the submit icon to submit the application.
The vacancy comes under the level-3 category in which the remuneration ranges from 21,700 to 69,100 rupees.
