AAP-Congress Pre-Poll Alliance Collapses Over Seat Dispute

According to PTI reports, the pre-poll alliance between AAP and Congress broke down after the former demanded 10 seats in Haryana while the Congress proposed just five. Earlier today, AAP's State Unit Chief Sushil Gupta announced that his party will release the candidates list for all the 90 constituencies, if an agreement isn't finalised till evening.
AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha had also stated, "We'll come to a decision before September 12, the last day of filing nomination. If there is no win-win situation, we will proceed independently." He further informed that the discussions are ongoing and he is optimistic about reaching a good conclusion.
