Chandrababu Naidu of the Telugu Desam Party is poised for a fourth term as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), is poised to be sworn in as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth term, as his coalition appears to be heading for a resounding victory in the state assembly elections.

According to reports from NDTV, the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for June 9 in Amravati. The NDA alliance is leading in 168 seats, with the TDP ahead in 131, Jana Sena Party in 20, and BJP in seven.

Meanwhile, the incumbent Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) is trailing, holding leads in only 17 seats. TDP supporters across the state have taken to the streets to celebrate the anticipated victory of their party.

The Assembly Elections were conducted on May 13, coinciding with the Lok Sabha polls in the state. While seeking another term, the YSRCP contested on all 175 seats independently, while the TDP fielded candidates on 144 seats. The Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena Party contested on 21 seats, and the BJP on 10 seats.

Five years ago, the YSRCP emerged as the largest party with 151 seats, while the TDP secured 23 seats. Neither the national parties INC nor BJP managed to win any seats.

Party sources revealed that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu. Under Naidu's leadership, the TDP has secured a landslide victory in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, leading in over 150 seats out of 175.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has requested a meeting with the Governor at 4:00 pm to submit his resignation. The TDP, led by Chandrababu Naidu, has achieved a significant victory in the Andhra Assembly elections, leading in more than 150 seats out of 175.
