After his resignation from the post of the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal will now vacate the home that he got as the CM's residence. However, the process will take a few weeks before he moves to a new place. He will also give up all the perks and facilities that he has been getting till date as the Chief Minister. AAP MP Sanjay Singh stated during an interaction with the media.

Arvind Kejriwal to give up perks

"We've seen such leaders in this country who get stick to their perks the way flies get towards light, but Arvind Kejriwal is not so. He has decided to give up all the facilities he gets as a Chief Minister", said Sanjay Singh while hitting out at the BJP.

"Court of voters will certify Kejriwal"

He further said, "The biggest question is that due to the conspiracies of the BJP, an honest leader had to resign. The people of Delhi are angry about it and now the two crore voters of this state will decide if their son is honest or a criminal." The judiciary of voters or the people of Delhi will now make Arvind Kejriwal sit on the CM's chair after authenticating him with their massive mandate, said the AAP MP.

Are freebies the Brahmastra for AAP?

Taking a dig at the BJP, the AAP leader said that the voters of Delhi are concerned because Narendra Modi has been raising questions on the availability of freebies to the people; be it free electricity, free water, free bus services for women and free medication. He also hinted that these facilities would get evaporated if the BJP comes into power in Delhi.

Arvind Kejriwal's resignation just a few months before the assembly elections has surprised everyone. Atishi Singh, who has been proposed by the party to succeed him is yet to take oath. If this is a gamble or a well-thought move is a question only time can answer.
