Bareilly Horror: Serial Killer Targets 11 Women In Same Pattern; Police Deploy 7 Teams

Several times, sudden increases in similar crimes occur, often indicating the presence of an active serial killer. The serial killer consistently executes crimes in the same manner. Multiple murder cases frequently emerge one after another. The method of committing all the murders remains the same. Whenever a place has an active serial killer, it instills terror in the minds of the local residents. For the past year, Bareilly has also been haunted by such an active serial killer, creating an atmosphere of fear, especially among women.

The method of killing mirrors that used in the murders of 10 women last year, involved a strangulation with a saree. With 11 women murdered in the area following the same pattern over the past year, residents are gripped by fear. After the incident on Tuesday evening, discussions about the serial killer have resurfaced once again.

In the past year, bodies of women have been found in various areas of the Shahi Thana region. So far, ten bodies have been recovered, with the latest one found recently, causing a stir. Anita, who had returned to her parental home, left to withdraw money from the bank but did not return. Subsequently, news of Anita's murder surfaced. Police arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and have now begun investigating the case.

Upon discovering Anita's body, ADG Zone Ramit Sharma, IG Dr. Rakesh Singh, and several police units from various stations arrived at the scene. Subsequently, officials engaged in discussions with the villagers. ADG assured the people that the perpetrator would soon be apprehended, following which strict action would be taken against them.

In the past year, ten women have been murdered in different villages within the Shahi police station area. The murders follow a consistent pattern where the women are first kidnapped and then strangled to death.
