Delhi-NCR Temperature Dip After Rain; UP-Bihar Braces For Showers Today

People have resumed their morning walks in gardens. The cooler temperatures have brought joy to everyone. In this scenario, what will the weather be like today across the plains of India, including Delhi-NCR?

Delhi has experienced pleasant weather with clouds and occasional drizzles over the past two days. The monsoon is gradually advancing towards North India and has already covered many parts of Madhya Pradesh and Bihar.

The Meteorological Department forecasts continued cloudy conditions in Delhi-NCR today. However, temperatures may rise again on Sunday morning. According to IMD, the recent relief from heatwave conditions in Delhi is due to a western disturbance and monsoon winds from the Bay of Bengal. On Friday, the minimum temperature in Delhi was around 36 degrees Celsius, with a maximum of around 40 degrees Celsius.

According to IMD, on Friday, the maximum temperatures in cities like Prayagraj, Kanpur, Hardoi, Agra, and Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh ranged from 40 to 42 degrees Celsius. Similarly, Jaisalmer, Barmer, and Jodhpur in Rajasthan had maximum temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius.

In Gujarat, cities like Rajkot, Ahmedabad, and Gandhinagar also recorded temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department reported that Orai in Uttar Pradesh was the hottest place in the country on Friday, with a maximum temperature reaching 44 degrees Celsius.
