Delhi woke up to light rain on Saturday, following its highest single-day June rainfall in 88 years, which brought the city to a standstill. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts light to moderate rainfall for the next five days, with some areas likely experiencing heavy showers until July 1.

Several areas of Delhi remain waterlogged and endured long power cuts after 228.1 mm of rain in 24 hours on Friday. At least five people, including two children, died in rain-related incidents.

For Saturday, IMD predicts thunderstorms with light to moderate rain over parts of Delhi-NCR, including Dwarka, Palam, Vasant Vihar, Vasant Kunj, Gurgaon, Faridabad, and Manesar.
