DMRC Alert: Timings For Delhi Metro Change For Next Two Days, Read Before You Take Ride
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced temporary changes to the Yellow Line schedule, effective July 20-21, due to construction work on a 490-meter stretch between Janakpuri West and R.K. Ashram. This segment is part of Phase 4 of the Delhi Metro expansion project.
The advisory from DMRC highlights significant adjustments to the timing of both the first and last trains on the Yellow Line, which connects Millennium City Center in Gurgaon with Samaypur Badli in Delhi. These changes are being implemented to accommodate ongoing construction and will be in place for the next two days. Normal operations are expected to resume on July 22.

On Saturday, July 20, 2024, the last train departing from Samaypur Badli towards Millennium City Center will leave at 10:45 PM, 15 minutes earlier than usual. Conversely, the last train from Millennium City Center to Samaypur Badli will depart at 9:30 PM, a full 90 minutes earlier than its usual schedule.
The following day, Sunday, July 21, 2024, the first train service from Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Center will commence at 7:00 AM, an hour later than the usual 6:00 AM start. Additionally, there will be no train services between Samaypur Badli and Jahangirpuri after 11:00 PM on July 20 and before 7:00 AM on July 21.

Despite these changes, normal train services will continue on the major sections of the Yellow Line from Jahangirpuri to Millennium City Center. To minimize inconvenience, DMRC will provide announcements regarding train destinations and platform changes at stations and on trains during this period. Passengers are advised to plan their travels accordingly
