Tension At Workplace Leads To Tragic Incident

Saxena's house help spotted him hanging at about 6:00 am and rushed to inform his cousin, Gaurav Saxena, who was residing in the neighborhood. When Gaurav reached the location, he found that Tarun had locked his wife and children in a room before committing suicide. Gaurav revealed that Tarun had been under immense pressure from his supervisors in respect to recovery of defaulted EMIs and targets. Gaurav said that when these expectations failed to meet the desired level, his salary was being deducted.

He had so much frustration, he wrote in his five-page suicide note, where he said that for 45 days he had not been able to sleep or eat. He had written his fear of the future and was continuously under pressure to either meet targets or quit. In fact, it is alleged that senior managers Vaibhav Saxena and Prabhakar Mishra instigated him on a conference call just before his death.
