Ghosh Alleges Improper Link To Kolkata Rape Incident

On the corruption case, Sandip Ghosh argues that the Calcutta High Court overlooked his side before transferring the investigation to the CBI. He also contended that the HC inappropriately linked the RG Kar Hospital rape incident to corruption. In a significant move, the Calcutta High Court ordered to shift the probe of 'financial irregularities' case at RG Kar hospital from the West Bengal government’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) to the CBI, on August 23. He was arrested at CBI's Nizam Palace office on September 2 on charges of financial fraud, along with three Kolkata vendors.
