In a significant pre-poll development, Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and Chandra Shekhar Azad’s Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) have announced an alliance for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, scheduled for October 1. Challenges for JJP

However, the JJP faces internal challenges, as four of its MLAs recently resigned from party positions, leaving only three legislators, including Dushyant Chautala and his mother Naina Chautala, still active in the party. This is seen as a significant setback ahead of the elections.
