Bulandshahr: In a shocking incident, a 48-year-old man has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a fast-track court here for raping his own mother in a village near Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. As per reports, this incident occurred on January 16, 2023, when the accused Aabid took his mother to fields to collect fodder and then assaulted her.

After this gruesome crime, Aabid fled from the spot but soon was caught by his brothers, Yusuf and Javed. On 21 January 2023, a formal complaint was lodged against Aabid with charges of rape and criminal intimidation.

Court Delivers Life Sentence For Aabid

Additional District Judge Varun Mohit Nigam, after conducting a thorough probe, found the accused Aabid guilty of this horrific act and sentenced him to serve life imprisonment coupled with a fine of Rs 51,000. This decision by the court has already brought out an effective message against sexual offenses, especially within a family.

The young son told the police that the elder brother raped his mother. The police arrested the elder brother and, after a medical investigation and hearing the story of the mother, convicted him. Mother asserts that after her husband's death, her son wanted her to be his wife. She tried to stop him, but he didn't listen to her at all. It took the police and government lawyers only 19 months to prove that the son was guilty.
