According to media reports, four soldiers have been injured in an ongoing encounter in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Four soldiers and a SP rank police officer were injured in an encounter between terrorists and security forces in South Kashmir’s Kulgam said an official.

A Joint Operation was launched by Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police today at Arigam, Kulgam on basis of a specific intelligence input. During search, terrorists fired indiscriminately and a firefight has ensued. Operation is in progress said Chinar Corps, Indian Army.
As per the latest reports, the security forces have killed two unidentified militants in an ongoing anti-militancy operation in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
