The authorities have set up diesel generators so that the towers can run continuously in case there is a power cut. Fast internet connections would be provided to the district administration and Kerala Health Department's toll-free numbers.

Jio has installed one more tower in the affected area to improve network coverage. Their network has also been extended to control rooms and relief camps to assist in carrying out rescue operations and distributing relief material.
