Just One Leave In 26 Years Of Work! UP Man Holds Unique Record

While people are in favor of working only three days a week, Bijnor's Tejpal Singh stands out among them. Hailing from UP, Tejpal has only taken one day off in his 26-year career. He is highly dedicated to his work, and even works on Sundays and holidays, like Holi and Diwali.

What Did The UP Man Say? 

In an interview, Tejpal revealed that he has been highly dedicated to his work. He said that he has been working since 1995, and has only taken one leave in his entire career. Having 45 paid leaves at his disposal, he chose to take just one of them. Because of his remarkable commitment to his work, he has also been recognised in the 'India Book Of Records'. Tejpal's dedication to his job is a perfect example of how important it is for someone to stay focused and dedicated to their work.

When Did Tejpal Singh Start Working?

Tejpal Singh started his career with Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Limited as a clerk on December 26, 1995. Even though he was liable to take 45 days off in a year but, he only took one day off during all his working years. That day was on June 18, 2003, for his younger brother's wedding.

He lives with his extended family and has two younger brothers. Despite having four children (two boys and two girls) and family responsibilities, Tejpal always arrives and leaves work on time and has never chosen to take a day off.
