Satellite images from the Indian Space Research Organisation, taken on the day of the landslide on July 16, suggest that a truck might have been swept into the river. The Army team is using a Ferrex Locator - GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) to detect submerged and buried objects.

In response to the landslide, vehicular traffic has been suspended on National Highway 66, further complicating rescue efforts. The comprehensive operation continues as authorities strive to recover all missing persons and assess the full impact of the disaster.
