Kolkata Horror: 'My Daughter Would Have Been Alive If…' - Victim's Father Makes Serious Allegations Against CM Mamata Banerjee
Kolkata Rape-Murder Case: In a startling claim, the Father of Kolkata rape and murder victim accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating, "During 2021 also, many charges were made against RG Kar's former Principal Sandeep Ghosh, if the Chief Minister had taken action then, my daughter would be alive."
While speaking to the media on Tuesday evening, he said that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is doing its work, and we have no comments on this. He further asserted that those who are linked with murder or tampering with evidence are currently under investigation.

Concerning the junior doctors who are holding a protest, he remarked, "They are like my children, it hurts to see them like this." The day the accused will face punishment, that day will mark our victory, he added.
Sealdah Court Orders Three-Day Extension Of CBI Custody
According to recent reports, the Sealdah Court extended the CBI custody of Sandip Ghosh and police officer Abhijit Mondal by three days. The CBI while investigating asked Ghosh, Mondal, and the officer-in-charge of the Tala police station to provide details of their activities on August 9.
Supreme Court Assures Victims's Parents
The Supreme Court on Tuesday instructed the CBI to take note of the flagged issues in a letter submitted by the victim's father.
A bench led by CJI DY Chandrachud further directed the counsel to share a message with the parents, stating, "Please be assured. CBI has flagged most of the concerns mentioned in the letter."
