Man Trapped In 40-Ft-Deep Borewell Found Dead After 6-Hour Rescue Attempt

A person who fell into a 40-foot-deep borewell at a Delhi Jal Board plant near Keshopur Mandi was declared dead after rescuers brought out his body on Sunday. Teams from the Delhi Fire Services, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and Delhi Police rushed to the spot after being informed about the incident earlier in the day. NDRF's inspector-in-charge, Veer Pratap Singh, was also present at the scene.
