The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has published updated images of the individual associated with the Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe explosion, which resulted in 10 injuries. Taking control of the investigation on March 3, the anti-terrorism agency is asking for public help in identifying the suspect responsible for planting an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the well-known eatery on March 1.

The main suspect, captured on CCTV footage, was observed boarding a bus around an hour after the explosion occurred at the cafe. The video timestamp indicates 2:03 pm on March 1, while the blast occurred at 12:56 pm. The suspect, dressed in a T-shirt, cap, and face mask, was observed abandoning a bag containing the IED in the cafe before departing.

On the same day, at approximately 9 pm, another footage shows the suspect wandering inside a bus station. The NIA has appealed to the public to provide any information that could aid in identifying and capturing the suspect. A reward of ₹10 lakh has been announced by the agency for any valuable information provided.

The Bengaluru Police's Central Crime Branch is working in conjunction with the NIA on the investigation. Two individuals have been apprehended in connection with the case: a cloth merchant from Kaul Bazaar in Ballari district and a member affiliated with the banned organization, Popular Front of India (PFI).

As per the investigation team, the suspect altered his attire after the incident and utilized buses to travel to various destinations, including Tumakuru, Ballari, Bidar, and Bhatkal. CCTV footage indicates that the suspect regularly changed his appearance in an attempt to avoid being identified.

Rameshwaram Cafe reopened with heightened security, including metal detectors at the entrance and handheld screenings for customer safety, ensuring the protection of patrons and staff.
