Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman revealed that the government has granted 43 crore loans amounting to Rs 22.5 lakh crore under the PM Mudra Yojana. Additionally, Rs 34 lakh crore has been transferred directly through Jan Dhan accounts, leading to savings of Rs 2.7 lakh crore. Over the past decade, 30 crore Mudra Yojana loans have been provided to women. Sitharaman emphasized the saturation approach, considering it a true and comprehensive achievement of social justice and an embodiment of secularism in action. She also noted a significant increase in India's chess grandmasters, from 20 in 2010 to 80 today.

In her pre-election Budget, referred to as an interim Budget, Finance Minister Sitharaman highlighted that a direct benefit transfer of ₹34 lakh crore through Jan Dhan accounts has led to savings amounting to ₹2.7 lakh crore. Additionally, she mentioned that over the past decade, 30 crore Mudra Yojana loans have been extended to women. She emphasized the saturation approach as a genuine and all-encompassing accomplishment of social justice, asserting that it represents secularism in action.

Addressing the Lok Sabha, the Union Finance Minister in her budget speech said, “The vision for Viksit Bharat is that of prosperous Bharat in harmony with nature with modern infrastructure and providing opportunities for all citizens and all regions to reach their potential. With confidence arising from the strong and exemplary track record of performance and progress earning Sabka Vishwas, the next five years will be years of unprecedented development and a golden movement to realize the dream of developing India by 2047.”
