An Air India flight from Delhi to San Francisco was delayed for 24 hours on Thursday, causing some people to pass out while waiting in the non-air-conditioned plane, passengers said. Several people went to X to share their problems, and the photos they shared were used to present flyers waiting in the alleyway leading to the plane.

Reporter Shweta Punj said in X that the Air India flight was delayed by more than 8 hours and passengers were "crammed to board and sit without air conditioning" at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. When some people passed out, he said, passengers were asked to get off the plane.

A social media user named Amadro also contacted X, claiming that his mother was stuck at the airport due to the delay and that passengers did not receive dinner or "any assistance".

Air India responded to both with an apology for the "inconvenience" and "inconvenience" caused to passengers. The airlines also assured them of the help their ground crews needed.
