Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at a 'kisan sammelan' (farmers' conference) in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on June 18. This will be his first visit to Varanasi since starting his third term on Sunday.

Venue Selection Underway

Local BJP leaders are working on choosing a venue for the farmers' conference, considering either Rohania or Sevapuri assembly constituency.

Preparations for the Visit

Officials held a meeting at the party office in Gulab Bagh to plan for PM Modi's visit. BJP Kashi region president Dilip Patel announced that PM Modi will participate in the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat during his one-day visit, and preparations have already begun.

BJP Kashi region president Dilip Patel said Modi will participate in the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat during his one-day visit, and preparations are underway. Patel also noted that BJP workers are preparing for Modi's grand welcome and assigning roles for the farmers' conference.

In the Lok Sabha elections this year, PM Modi retained his Varanasi seat for the third time, defeating Congress candidate Aay Rai by over 1.5 lakh votes.
