Walk For Courage: Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the strength of the participants in Manish Malhotra's show, organized by the Indian Minorities Foundation, which saw cancer survivors and 26/11 Mumbai terror attack survivors walk the ramp.

PM Modi shared on X that he is proud of the people's resilience, courage, and spirit, which will continue to inspire everyone. The show, titled "Namo Bharat: Walk for Courage, Walk for Service, Walk for Heritage," was organized during Sewa Pakhwada, observed from September 17 (PM Modi's birthday) to October 2 (Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary).

Celebrities Walked Ramp In Tribute To Service And Courage By PM Modi

Several known celebrities like cancer survivor Sonali Bendre, Tahira Kashyap, and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' stars Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri walked the ramp at the event. Indian Minorities Foundation posted on X, saying that the "Namo Bharat: Seva, Courage, Culture" event is a tribute to the spirit of service inspired by PM Narendra Modi's dedication to the nation. His birthday represents commitment, urging people to emulate his footsteps, brimming with compassion and unity.

'Sewa Pakhwada' Event Honors Cancer And 26/11 Survivors

This event being a part of Sewa Pakhwada celebrated India's strength as well by saluting the strength of cancer survivors, the bravery of people who survived the 26/11 attacks, and the beauty of our cultural heritage. It showcased what makes us one as "Ek Bharat" where courage, service, and tradition unite. We thank all those who made this inspiring tribute to India's enduring spirit possible.

Terror attack survivors and cancer survivors were also attending the program, said Sonali Bendre in an interview with ANI. "Namo Bharat" focuses on three aspects: bravery, service, and heritage, she further said. The cancer survivor Tahira Kashyap, appreciated the Indian government for the day's celebration of the great heritage this nation possesses, besides sending out a huge message to the world that not to lose hope even in hard times.
