Prime Minister Narendra Modi has begun his address to the nation through the iconic radio program 'Mann Ki Baat' at 11 am today.

Reflecting on a decade of the program, PM Modi expressed that today's episode is bound to make him emotional as it reminds him of many old memories. He further noted that the journey with Mann Ki Baat has completed 10 years.

In an X post, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting stated that the program will be aired on Akashvani and Doordarshan. It will also be available on the All India Radio website and Narendra Modi Mobile App.

Mann Ki Baat was launched on 03 October 2014 with a view of connecting the various segments of Indian society, including women, youth, and the elderly. The episodes are usually broadcast on the last Sunday of every month. Today, September 29 marks the completion of 10 years of the popular monthly radio program by PM Modi.

According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, PM Modi's episodes have brought unity among Indians through discussions on vast issues of nationwide importance.

This is the fourth episode of this monthly radio program since PM Modi began his third term in office. After the episode is broadcast today in Hindi, Akashvani will air it in other regional languages for everyone.

UNESCO Director-General Praises The Impact Of The Program

UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay has praised the impact of the popular radio program 'Mann Ki Baat.' She said, "Mann Ki Baat is undoubtedly one of the most renowned radio programs, boasting hundreds of millions of listeners in over 50 languages and dialects. It stands as a landmark in the world's radio heritage."

This month's episode was open for suggestions to the Prime Minister through telephone lines from 5 September to 27 September.
