On Monday, Ram Mandir chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das accused the construction team of negligence, stating that they had not made provisions for draining rainwater from the temple premises after Saturday night's showers. He urged temple authorities to promptly address the issue with corrective measures.

Mr. Das urged the temple authorities to acknowledge the incident and make necessary arrangements to prevent leakage and ensure proper drainage of water from the temple.

He asserted that there was significant leakage from the roof of the temple's sanctum sanctorum during the first heavy showers that occurred at midnight on Saturday.

He mentioned that rainwater was leaking from the roof directly above the area where the priest sits in front of Ram Lalla's idol and where VIPs come for 'darshan'.

Engineers from across the country are involved in constructing the Ram temple, and it is surprising that despite its inauguration on January 22, no one anticipated the roof would leak during rainfall.

'He added, 'It's surprising that the roof of a world-famous temple is leaking. Why did this happen?'

'He criticized the occurrence in the presence of prominent engineers, calling it unacceptable.'
