Heavy rain hit Delhi-NCR for a day, causing a disaster. Since then, the monsoon has brought unbearable humidity and heat to the capital. Despite daily predictions of rain and relief from the weather department, the sticky heat persists. For the past three days, evenings promise rain, but the following days bring back humid conditions without relief.

The IMD predicts heavy rain in Delhi-NCR over the next three days, issuing an orange alert and warning of potential waterlogging. They expect strong thunderstorms with wind speeds of 30-40 km per hour. The IMD advises checking traffic updates before heading out.

On Sunday, Delhi experienced persistent humidity and daytime heat. Safdarjung recorded a maximum temperature of 37.1 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of year, with a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius. Humidity ranged from 97% to 60%. The upcoming heavy rain could lower temperatures by up to 4 degrees Celsius over the next four days.
