Seven Killed, Ten Injured In Dumper Truck-Auto Rickshaw Collision In Jabalpur
Jabalpur: Mishap occurred in Sihora area of Jabalpur as speeding truck turned on its side and fell onto auto-rickshaw carrying workers. All seven laborers died on the spot. Ten others suffered serious injuries and were rushed to the district hospital.
Accident Details :
The auto-rickshaw was ferrying some of the workers going to their village when a truck speeding from the opposite side lost control and turned upside to flop over the auto. All the workers and the rickshaw were crushed under the truck.
Injuries and Emergency Response
Villagers rushed to help the injured right away and police, emergency teams soon arrived and rushed the injured to the hospital. Most of people injured are in critical condition.
Protests and Traffic Jam
A child lost his life also in the accident. Protesting the incident, locals blocked the highway and placed bodies on the road itself, which increased the traffic jam on Sihora-Majhgawan Road, dislocating the movement of the travelers in the region.
