Shame! 4-Year-Old Raped At Tuition Centre In Delhi, Protest Erupts, Cars Vandalised

In a shocking incident, a 4-year-girl was raped by the brother of her tuition teacher in Pandav Nagar, Delhi on Saturday. The minor was raped by a 34-year-old man, while the tuition teacher was away, said police. However, the accused has been arrested.

According to a Delhi Eastern Range’s Additional CP, Sagar Singh Kalsi, on March 25, a complaint was received by the Mandawali Police Station that a 4-year-old girl was raped by a 34-year-old man at the place where she goes for tuition. “As soon as we got the information, we went to the place and arrested the accused”, he said.

NDTV reported that the victim informed her parents about the incident and told that teachwer’s brother also threatened her not to tell anybody about it.

The private parts of the girl are swelled, added NDTV.

The victim has been transported to AIIMS, accompanied by her parents, where she is currently receiving counseling, as per police reports.

Meanwhile, relatives of the victim and local residents have congregated outside the accused's residence, causing damage to nearby vehicles. Police have deployed a large number of personnel and paramilitary forces in the area to maintain order.

Kalsi also mentioned that rumors circulating about inaction by authorities prompted the gathering and protests. "We have also received reports of vandalism. Police have intervened, and the situation is now under control. The girl is safe," he added.

DCP of the east district, Apoorva Gupta, informed PTI about the spread of misinformation in the area. She clarified that the victim is safe and emphasized the presence of numerous false messages and rumors circulating on social media regarding the case.
