'Some Give Votes, Some Give Slaps', Opposition Reacts After CISF Constable Slaps Kangana Ranaut

Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena (UBT) alleged that CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur, angered by Kangana Ranaut's comments on the farmer's protests, slapped the actress at Chandigarh Airport. Raut emphasized that such remarks naturally incite anger, urged respect for the rule of law, and called for public respect towards Ranaut, the newly elected BJP MP, and the protesting farmers.

Sanjay Raut, a leader from Shiv Sena (UBT), claimed on Friday, June 7, that a CISF woman constable was provoked by comments Kangana Ranaut made during the farmer's protests.

Kulwinder Kaur, a CISF constable stationed at Chandigarh Airport, allegedly slapped Bollywood actress and politician Kangana Ranaut at the airport on Thursday.

Raut mentioned that if the constable's mother had been involved in the farmer's protests and Ranaut made remarks against it, it would naturally incite anger. 'Some people cast votes, some respond with slaps. I don't know the exact details... But if the constable said her mother was part of the protests, then it is likely true. If her mother was there and someone criticized it, it would cause anger,' Raut was quoted by ANI.

He further stated, 'However, if PM Modi advocates for the rule of law, then it should be upheld... The participants in the farmer's protests were sons and daughters of India. If someone insults Bharat Mata and it offends others, it is worth considering.'

Raut also appealed to the public to respect Kangana Ranaut, the newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi, saying, 'I have sympathy for Kangana. She is now an MP. An MP should not be attacked, but the farmers also deserve respect.'
