Union Minister Labels Rahul Gandhi As 'No. 1 Terrorist' For Remarks On Sikhs

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is in the eye of the storm after he made some comments about Sikhs during his recent visit to the United States. A union minister and BJP leader, Ravneet Singh Bittu came down heavily on him. He termed Gandhi as "the number one terrorist of the country" and questioned his loyalty to India.

Accusations Against Gandhi

Bittu accused Rahul Gandhi of trying to divide communities, claiming that after failing to gain political ground with Muslim issues. He is now at it again — trying to create a rift in the Sikh community. Gandhi's remarks received support from terrorist factions, further branding him anti-national

Questioning Gandhi's Patriotism

Bittu also raised doubts about Gandhi's connection to India and Indians, as he is outside the country most of the time and is extremely close to outside people. It is a lack of commitment toward India and its tradition, Bittu felt.

Detraction over Public Engagement

Beyond this attack, Bittu was highly critical of Gandhi's public activism, saying it is all but a play for visual media, rather than attempts to genuinely act on problems. Despite his having served for terms in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, Bittu accused Gandhi of having failed to connect with the real and current pains of simple folk like those in low-income professions.
