In a bold display of recklessness, a young man was captured on video riding a motorbike perilously along the road divider in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, blatantly disregarding safety regulations.

In a viral social media video, a young man is seen riding his motorbike on top of the road divider on the Kollidam River bridge in Trichy. This dangerous stunt risked his life and the lives of other motorists amidst heavy traffic on both sides of the road.

On May 23, in celebration of the ‘Mutharaiyar Sathaya Vizha’ or the birth anniversary of Perumbidugu Muthuraiyar, numerous young members of the community honored his memory by garlanding his statue in Trichy. They also participated in a motorbike procession.

Despite police restrictions, locals reported that many youngsters performed bike stunts and engaged in over-speeding on the roads.

Following the video's viral spread across social media platforms, many locals have been urging the police to take strict action against the man for his dangerous bike stunt. This incident occurred a week after a video went viral on social media showing a man dangerously riding a bike with a woman on his lap on a flyover in Bengaluru. The police tracked down the duo after taking note of the viral video.

In the undated clip, the woman is seen sitting sideways on the biker's lap with her hands wrapped around his neck. The incident reportedly occurred on the Hebbal flyover in north Bengaluru.
